Notes¶
PowerScale Integration
Omnia configures NFS client mounts on cluster nodes for shared home directories and scratch filesystems. The PowerScale cluster must be configured and operational before running Omnia playbooks. Configure storage parameters in storage_config.yml.
PowerVault Integration
Omnia configures iSCSI initiators on target nodes for block storage workloads. Pre-create LUNs and map them to host groups before running Omnia storage playbooks. DM-Multipath is recommended for redundancy.
VAST Integration
Omnia can install the VAST client and mount a dedicated optional Slurm VAST
export. Use name: vast_storage for the standard mount in
storage_config.yml, and select it with
slurm_cluster[0].vast_storage_name: vast_storage in omnia_config.yml.
When the selection is empty or omitted, Orchestrator skips the standard
VAST entry and reuses the Slurm NFS storage. Model qualification is
site-specific for this release.
